Specifications
Trajectories is currently displayed in five large cases in a 1178
sq. ft. gallery space. Three of the cases are 2 ft. by 4 ft. and two
cases are 3 ft. square. Each case has two tiers of bead display.
Trajectories requires 120 running feet or appx. 50 sq. ft. This
doesnt account for viewing space, wheelchair accessibility, etc.
There are 107 individual mounts and some of those include multiple
beads.
Mounts are included in the exhibit. Secured, enclosed cases will
need to be provided by host museum.
Trajectories is 107 pieces (beads) made of glass using a variety of
techniques from lampwork, sculptural lampwork, furnace glass, and
kiln forming. 67 artists are a part of the show.
Scheduling of the traveling exhibit and marketing materials will be
handled by the ISGB. Shipping and condition reports will be handled
by The Bead Museum.
Costs
The cost of an 8 week rental for Trajectories is $2,000. This
includes shipping to your facility, but does not include return
shipping to The Bead Museum. The estimated cost of shipping is $400.
International venues are welcome but please note that shipping
prices may be considerably higher.
The exhibit includes 50 catalogs, which retail for $20 each. If the
host site sells all 50 copies, the exhibition rental fees are
covered. Additional catalogs may be purchased from The Bead Museum
at $10 each. After the exhibit closes, unwanted catalogs may be
returned to The Bead Museum.
ISGB can provide the host site with the exhibit postcard design and
the host exhibit may chose to utilize the design or create their
own. Every effort will be made to have a representative of ISGB at
